Le Tombeau de Ravel inspires itself of the Menuet of the Tombeau de
Couperin, and has principally an elegiac, tender and nostalgic character.
The first performance has taken place on
December 3rd, 2006, at the Théâtre de l’Oriental
of Vevey (Switzerland).
It has also been instrumented
for a chamber orchestra.
